By age 7, the first permanent molars and incisors usually have erupted sufficiently to allow Dr. Cruz to evaluate for cross bites, crowding/spacing, and any skeletal problems.
In most cases, Dr. Cruz will simply monitor your child at 6 to 12 month intervals until he/she is either ready for treatment or determines that braces are not necessary.
We do everything we can to make your child's experience fun and exciting.
If your child isn't quite ready to start orthodontic treatment, they will become a member of our Kids Club. They receive their own membership card, and a gift certificate for Jamba Juice or Cold Stone. Their choice! They will also be entered into our Kids Club drawing for a chance to win other great prizes. We will continue to see them every six months in our orthodontic guidance program at no charge. We will monitor their growth and development until they are ready to get started with childrens braces.
