To do this, we turn to the medical and scientific communities to lead the way to discovery. We believe that by finding the causes of lupus, we can find a cure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lupus LA supports research on the local and national levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Locally, Lupus LA funds rheumatology fellows at local hospitals. Each fellowship focuses specifically on patient care and lupus research. The LRA is the country\u2019s only nonprofit organization singularly devoted to novel research in lupus. Since founding, Lupus LA has raised over $4 million for the LRA.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The LRA enables investigators to pursue bold yet sound scientific hypotheses in lupus.
